Sustainable Practices: Beginning with a sketch, designs are made and transferred onto the computer for final details before being traced onto wood blocks. These blocks are carved out of the wood and used to transfer mixed dyes onto fabric like a stamp. Each color requires a new block adding to the hours of work that goes into the hand block printing process.
